Many people have contacted me, whilst also writing to Buckingham Palace, to demand that the rspca lose their precious 'royal' title. I too wrote to Buck House in the same vein....but didn't even warrant the courtesy of a reply BUT.....please do not waste your time, and postage money in pursuing this end.
The royal family have had....and continue to have...an isatiable appetite for blood. Indeed, they could easily become vampires! since they seem to delight in killing anything that moves, that lives, that enjoys its life and IS NOT THEIRS TO KILL. In view of what the rspca has just done, slaughtering 10 german shepherd pet dogs, they are PERFECT PARTNERS with royalty.
I live in a rural community, most of which is inhabited by decent, honest, fair minded people but.....we also have more than our fair share of 'brain deads'....those that, on a lovely summers day, a fresh autumn day or a crisp winters morning...rush for their guns, their dogs, their horses......to ENJOY a day spent killing Gods creatures.....for food?...NO. For profit....NO. JUST FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL PLEASURE. These people have to be the bottom of the barrel of human life....hopefully....they will destroy each other eventually....since ALL are driven by pure GREED....and all seem to think they are answerable to no-one....big mistake!
There are thousands of 'people' like these who, although educated...sadly, remain ignorant. There is a certain 'power' that weak people crave.....the power of death over life is pathetically synonymous of mentally afflicted people.....many go on to commit horrendous crimes...but they are active in all walks of life be it hunters, slaughtermen, pound owners, or royalty...they all think they have the right to take life away from living things....what starts out with creatures can easily escalate to humans....these people are truly sick....and they are answerable...to a far greater
authority than they can imagine.
So, the rspca SHOULD keep their 'royal' title.....they slaughter idiscriminently....so they deserve it.

I have just posted, including the rspca petition....and notice that the time has registered as 5.34AM !! Odd, as it is actually 11am on Sunday morning? Internet gone mad or what?
Anyway, just a little catch up to let you all know what has been happening recently in the 'wonderful world' of rescue! The continuing struggle to save and find places of safety and eventual homes for the bull breeds is draining the resources of small rescues nationwide. Rotties, Staffies, Mastiffs.....same poor souls are left lanquishing in dog pounds as rescues, already full of these and other breeds, are forced to pass them by. The small groups are running around, tirelessly, getting these dogs into safe care, checking their veterinary needs, and putting huge effort into finding them forever homes.....it is a major task....and in this economic climate ....or 'SKINT SEASON'....most small groups are finding it hard to continue. So, if you have a small group near you.....find out what they are trying to do.....ask what they need and try and do what you can to help. Money is the reason for most of the greed surrounding bad breeding, theft of dogs .....and the inevitable dumping of those no longer wanted....yet Money can also be the saviour of the rescues who are the only hope for many of those who end up at dog pounds throughout the U.K. Please, if you can afford to send even a small amount, do so. If you have old blankets/bedding....give them to your local rescue. At (the dreaded) Christmas time....when rescues are stretched to their limit....buy a few cans of dog/cat food for your local rescue. If you don't know who your local rescue is....please contact me: caraanimalrescue@aol.com and I will be glad to put you in touch.
Most of the bigger charities need large sums to keep them going....whilst the smaller groups usually just need money for diesel (to move the dogs from dog pounds), vet bills, food.....very basic items.....NO SALARIES TO PAY....since the small, dedicated, groups run on a voluntary basis. Please help in anyway you can.
Christmas can be such a magical time of year.....a time to take stock and really think about what you are doing.....and your place in the world, a quiet, peaceful wonderful celebration.....of the life that was given to us. But, it is also the worst time of year for rescues.....more animals are abandoned in the run up to Christmas than at any other time of the year....so please, give something to those who will be on call all over this Christmas period, who do not close, who will answer a call for help.....even on Christmas Day.
God Bless.
A special mention to the band of Greyhound rescuers who have taken on the mammoth task of rehoming the many dogs who would otherwise face a dreadful end, with the closure, yesterday, of the Swansea Greyhound Track. They too....desperately need your help...contact me for further details.

The awful case of the ten pet german shepherds, dragged from their home on a dog grasper into their own garden and shot with a captive bolt by unqualified rspca personnel....refuses to go away. Whilst the rspca has offered selective answers....i.e. the dogs had a bad skin!....then, they were aggressive. First it was a member of the family that called them in...then a member of the public. They have stated that this was the most 'humane' way of slaughtering the dogs....yet another rspca source stated that it took them 'most of the day'.
If you believe that the public.....who donated the millions of pounds which keeps them going...deserve to know the truth...then PLEASE sign the following petition and pass to anyone you know who has a conscience and believes this should never be allowed to happen again. No veterinary treatment...or even advice was sought....no behaviourist or specialist rescue was informed. This unqualified, uncaring, 'slaughter squad' took it upon themselves to carry out this mass murder....for that is exactly what it was. This was an act of the most barbaric cruelty...carried out by a national charity that we have, until now, relied upon to save our animals. Indeed the rspca currently have an advertising campaign...appearing daily on many commercial tv channels...offering to provide a 'Home for Life' for your dog, if something happens to you. What about the poor old man that died and left his 10 beloved gsds in his house? NOT GOOD ENOUGH...NO MORE PREPARED ANSWERS....THE TRUTH......PLEASE.

Today the funeral of Rosemary Roberts was held in Swansea. My pal, Lisa, has worked tirelessly for many years to save dogs, cats, badgers and foxes. Her enthusiasm came from her mum, Rosie Roberts.
This wonderful lady lost her struggle for life, at the very young age of 65. I never met her but we spoke, often. She is a great loss to the animal world. God bless you Rosie.
This horrible week has been much the same as many others....staffies, rotties and mastiffs that other rescues cannot (or will not) take. Please, if any of you can foster one of these great dogs, let met know. Exhausted....but not about to give up.
Christine.

Well, surfice it to say, we have had a rotten fortnight. Collecting all the dogs from the pounds...that the other rescues didn't want! How can ANYONE go to a dog pound...pick what they want...and leave the rest to be destroyed????? I don't get it...and i hope I never do....cannot get on the same wavelenght as these people..
Really feeling desperate.....no funding to do what needs doing and constantly being asked to help with the 'unwanted by rescues' dogs. If you are sitting, comfortably, reading this.....and you are REAL and have GUTS....take a deep breath and watch this video. Oh, yes, easy to say "know what's happening....but don't want to see....PLEASE SEE.....REMEMBER ....FOR NO-ONE ELSE WILL.
I am not a vegan....but, having watched this....will NEVER buy milk again. Don't know what I'll use instead but I only use it for tea and coffee so am quite prepared to use an alternative.
When I see things like this.....and, even worse.....hear men laughing at the terrible cruelty....I really would not have a problem with the human race being totally eradicated. I am ashamed to be part of a species that can be so cruel, greedy and totally unaware of it all.
Sorry if this blog sounds depressing....but that is what life is....as long as there are 'people' alive that can carry out these acts with no compassion, conscience or guilt.
Hope they all rot in hell....better still, hope I can get my hands on them first.

This, unfortunately, is as it is titled. Ten pet dogs, whose owner had recently died, have been SHOT by the rspca! Excuses range from 'vicious', 'bad skin' through to saving them the trouble of having their legs shaved for a lethal injection!!!!!!!!!
Having recently seen an expensive TV advert....encouraging owners to leave their pets to the rspca....who will 'care for them and find them a new home'....I think the public should think long and hard about supporting this charity....indeed I believe they are deceiving the public by taking donations to, supposedly, help prevent suffering. I hope, as a tribute to these ten dead dogs, donations to this dreadful organisation stop. I also believe that they should not only lose their charitable status but also their royal patronage. They are truly disgusting.
I will let you all have an update on what we have been doing recently in a later blog...but I feel this is more important.
Please see the following link.....there is also another on Many Tears website and no doubt you will hear more about this terrible travesty in this weeks press and newsreels.

At last I can update my blog......have new computer and couldn't find my own website!!! Anyway, will try to make this a regular job on my 'to do' list! As usual we have been inundated with staffies, rotties and weird cross breeds.....most of which other rescues either do not want or cannot take because their kennels are already bulging with the same type of dogs.We have managed to save every dog that we have known about....with the help of many volunteers and dedicated rescues. Sadly our funding is now almost non existent and we are no longer able to offer kennelling for dogs to be held whilst being assessed prior to going to rescues. If anyone can sponsor a dog our local kennels only charge £5 per day and will assess the dog with other dogs/cats and suitability wth children...so if any of you can help please get in touch and we will put you in contact with the kennels.
Last week we collected an injured baby hedgehog and took it to the nearest hedgehog hospital!....but that was a 40mile round trip! We have a lot of dedicated volunteer drivers but we have to pay for the diesel and bridge tolls as most of our drivers are close to the breadline themselves!....why is it that anyone dedicated to animal rescue...is always broke???? Denise at Dogwatch has been marvellous...putting out appeals for our pound staffies and has managed to find places for all six this week!!! One fosterer is driving all the way from Essex to collect her new 'lodger' and is very kindly giving a lift back to another of our little wonders...a puppy called Opal who has megaoesophagus.....and needs constant nursing...she is going into permanent foster with a lady who has experience in dealing with this condition but is based in Essex....this was organised by Trudie at Doris Banham Sanctuary. One of my drivers is taking three dogs to the West Country, also organised by Denise. There are some wonderful people out there and I find it inspiring when the rescues work so well together....to save the animals. Most of the dogs on our website have now , happily, been homed so I will update with pics of those little souls who are still waiting for that forever home. A big thank you to Dogwatch, Doris Banham and all our wonderful volunteers. Also a big thank you to Chris the vet who sought our help for a dear little jack russell who had terrible injuries from an rta....the vet had to stitch his nose back onto his face...and stitched from inside the gum....so little doggy looks none the worse for his trauma.....we delivered him to Many Tears last week....so much has been going on I could write pages but have to collect another boy from the vets (he's only been neutered!). Will update this regularly from now on and thank you all for visiting our site..please call again.
